Placement of an order does
not guarantee that a portrait or work of art will be
produced and made available for purchase. It is accepted as
a confirmation of an instruction to proceed.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing you are not obliged
to accept the portrait until you are satisfied with the
item, by viewing a digital reproduction or the finished item
(by your own arrangement). Payment in full (if not already
made) will then be required before the item is released to
you. Until payment is received the item remains the property
of the artist. In the case that you do not accept the
portrait, or provide payment within 14 days, the artist is
free to dispose of the portrait/artwork as they wish.
In the event that you are not
satisfied with the item, when received, you have 3 days from
receipt of the item to log a complaint and 7 days to return
the item (recorded delivery – payable by you) to the artist.
On receipt of the item by the artist you will then be
entitled to a refund by the means originally paid.
A Portrait Voucher has no
monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash of any
description.
By issuing a photographic image to the artist
you confirm that you
are authorised to release the photographs provided for
reproduction as a portrait (in respect of copyright and
property rights). In the case of copyright restrictions on
the image you must provide written agreement from the
copyright holder/s of the release of copyright and details
of any restrictions or conditions (enclosed with your
order). I understand that the copyright of the portrait
produced will remain the property of the artist, to do with
as they so wish and that the portrait must not be reproduced
by any means (including digitally or internet display)
without the artist’s consent in writing.
